Hi, I’m Kyle Kirby. I’m a Philosophy PhD student at the University of Arizona.

You can find my C.V. here.
You can reach me at kdkirby[at]arizona.edu.

I work on metaethics, value theory, aesthetics, and metaphysics. I’m particularly interested in how normativity is structured, the nature of normative domains (e.g., the moral, aesthetic, and epistemic), and how we can use the metaphysics of kinds (like determinables and genera) to better understand these topics.

When I’m not doing philosophy, I enjoy romance novels, horror movies, and logic puzzles.
